Gallatin, TN, January 5, 2016– NIC Global, headquartered in Woodinville, WA and a leading manufacturer of sheet metal and assemblies has reached an agreement to acquire Competition Powder Coaters (CPC) of Gallatin, TN. CPC’s operation will be integrated into NIC Global’s Gallatin Plant, while continuing to operate in its current facility at 1365 Gateway Drive.

“CPC’s long history of quality coating operations and experienced team will enhance and expand NIC’s ability to provide high quality components and assemblies to our customers.” says Troy Wood, NIC’s Vice President of Midwest Operations.

NIC Global is a $100M+ Tier-1 provider of custom parts, components, and assemblies serving the medical equipment, heavy truck, industrial, and consumer industries, all of which utilize powder coating and other paint finishes. NIC serves its North American customer base out of 4 major plants in Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington State. This acquisition is a strategic move for NIC’s Tennessee plant towards increased flexibility and performance in its coatings.

The companies are targeting to complete the transaction by end of January 2016.
